Buggies
Some courses already include buggies with their
green fee which forms part of the tour operator´s
contract. This will be made clear to you on
confirmation of your booking.
Where the buggies are not included, they can be paid
direct to the course by the client on arrival,
together with any insurance costs. However should
you wish to prebook your buggies, where the course
allows, these will be reserved by golf-eagles for
your direct payment to the course.
During low season (summer, December and January),
many courses publish buggy inclusive offers. If your
reservation was already made prior to the
publication of the buggy offer, every effort will be
made to change your booking to include the buggy
where there is no additional charge or offered the
opportunity to pay the difference if applicable.
Twilight Golf
Twilight golf is a reduced green fee for play
towards the end of the day. The reason it is reduced
is that there is no guarantee that you will have
enough light to complete 18 holes. Tee times vary
according to season but as a rough guide, from
14.00h in the winter and 15.00h – 16.00h in the
summer months. Most courses do offer twilight rates
for direct payment to the caddy master which are not
reservable in advance. However Golf Eagles has made
prebooking arrangements with a few select courses,
and where not reservable, we are happy to offer this
as information to our golfing clients. See our
NEWS page
for details.
Handicaps
Virtually all 18 hole courses require a handicap of
28 for men and 36 for women and players should bring
their handicap certificate. In practice however,
these are seldom requested unless play is noticeably
slow and holding up following players.
For advice on which courses to play without a
handicap, or for golf lessons and classes, please
contact us on
info@golf-eagles.com.
Etiquette
Players should observe the rules and etiquette of
the courses. As a general guide, no jeans or beach
clothes to play, shorts should be tailored, and
shirts must have a collar. Soft spikes only. Mobile
phones should be switched off.
Course Maintenance
Every effort is made to keep up to date with course
maintenance programmes and advise you in advance if
your golf reservations are affected.
Professionals
Reservations for pro golfers cannot be made unless
they are accompanying 7 or more paying golfers. Any
fees for pros should be paid direct to courses on
presentation of their professional authentication.
Juniors
The policy or defined age of a junior player varies
from course to course. Juniors can be reserved with
adult paying golfers but any fee should be paid
direct to the course.

Travel Insurance
We always recommend our clients to take out their
own travel insurance. For your own security, never
leave your golf clubs exposed in cars and make use
of hotel safes where available to protect your
personal belongings. |
